Indication
Used to treat mild to moderate primary hypertension where a single drug cannot fully control blood pressure. This product is not suitable for the initial treatment of hypertension.

Usage and dosage
Each tablet of this product contains 80mg of valsartan and 12.5mg of hydrochlorothiazide. When the use of valsartan alone cannot satisfactorily control blood pressure, and the use of hydrochlorothiazide 25mg once daily cannot satisfactorily control blood pressure or hypokalemia occurs, this product (containing valsartan 80mg/hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg) can be used instead, one tablet per time, once daily. The maximum antihypertensive effect can be achieved within 2-4 weeks of taking the medication.
Drug overdose
Excessive use of valsartan may lead to significant hypotension, resulting in decreased levels of consciousness, circulatory failure, and/or shock. If eaten shortly, it will cause vomiting. In addition, the conventional treatment is intravenous infusion of physiological saline.
Due to its strong binding ability in plasma, valsartan cannot be cleared through hemodialysis, but hydrochlorothiazide can be cleared through dialysis.

This product contains hydrochlorothiazide. Thiazide diuretics can affect the metabolism and excretion of stimulants, which may reduce the sensitivity of stimulant urine tests. Therefore, athletes should use it with caution.
Pregnancy period
Exposure to thiazide diuretics (including hydrochlorothiazide) in utero can cause fetal or neonatal jaundice or thrombocytopenia, and may be associated with other adverse reactions that occur in adults.
If pregnancy is detected during medication, the medication should be stopped as soon as possible.
