The active ingredient of this product is metoprolol succinate.

The content of this product is white or off white small pills.

Hypertension. angina pectoris. Chronic heart failure with stable symptoms accompanied by abnormal left ventricular systolic function.

This product should be swallowed whole. For patients who cannot swallow the complete capsule, other administration methods can be chosen. The dosage should be individualized to avoid the occurrence of bradycardia.

Pregnancy has not yet undergone sufficient well controlled clinical trials in pregnant women, and the results of animal experiments may not always predict human responses. Therefore, unless it is clear that the benefits outweigh the risks, the use of this product during pregnancy should be considered. Usually, beta blockers can reduce placental perfusion, leading to growth retardation, intrauterine death, miscarriage, and premature birth. Therefore, the above risks should be considered when using beta blockers during the last 3 months of pregnancy and before and after delivery. Metoprolol can enter breast milk in lactating women, but it is unlikely to endanger the baby at therapeutic doses.

Cardiogenic shock. Sick sinus syndrome. Second and third degree atrioventricular block. Unstable, decompensated heart failure patients (pulmonary edema, hypoperfusion, or hypotension) who receive continuous or intermittent beta agonist positive inotropic therapy. Symptomatic bradycardia or hypotension. This product should not be given to patients suspected of acute myocardial infarction with heart rate<45 beats/minute, P-Q interval>0.24 seconds, or systolic blood pressure<100mm Hg. For patients with indications for heart failure, if their supine systolic blood pressure remains below 100mmHg on multiple measurements, their suitability for this product should be re evaluated before starting treatment. Patients with severe peripheral vascular disease accompanied by the risk of gangrene. Individuals who are allergic to any ingredients or other beta blockers in this product.
