Indication
1. Edematous diseases excrete excessive sodium and water from the body, reduce extracellular fluid volume, and eliminate edema. 3. Central or renal diabetes insipidus.

Usage and dosage
1. Commonly used oral dosage for adults. ① Treatment of edematous diseases, 25-50mg each time, 1-2 times a day, or every other day, or 3-5 days a week Treat hypertension with 25-100mg daily, divided into 1-2 doses, and adjust the dosage according to the antihypertensive effect.
2. Commonly used oral dosage for children. Take 1-2 doses per day based on body weight of 1-2mg/kg or body surface area of 30-60mg/m2, and adjust the dosage according to the therapeutic effect. Infants under 6 months old can receive a daily dose of 3mg/kg.
Medication for pregnant and lactating women
(1) Can pass through the placental barrier. It has no preventive effect on hypertension syndrome, so pregnant women should use it with caution.
(2) Breastfeeding women should not take it.
Children's medication
Caution should be taken for infants with jaundice, as this type of medication can increase blood bilirubin levels.
Elderly medication
