Attention

1. Individuals with a clear history of allergies, asthma, or adverse reactions to iodinated contrast agents should be given special attention. If necessary, consider administering corticosteroids or histamine antagonists to these patients in advance.

2. Emergency measures, medication, equipment, etc. should be prepared in advance for possible allergies or similar allergic reactions caused by iodine agents.

3. Ensure that patients have good water electrolyte balance before and after receiving contrast agents.

4. Special monitoring should be given to high-risk patients (such as severe heart disease, liver and kidney dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension, leukemia, thyroid disease, etc.). For those diseases that are easy to lead to acute renal failure, such as renal insufficiency, diabetes, myeloma and heteroalbuminemia, dialysis treatment should be carried out after operation if necessary.

5. Iodine contrast agents can exacerbate the symptoms of myasthenia gravis. When patients with pheochromocytoma receive intravenous injection, alpha receptor blockers should be given preventively to avoid hypertensive crisis. Diabetes patients with serum creatinine concentration more than 500 μ mol/L should avoid using this contrast agent, unless the contrast is necessary for the patient.

6. Iodine containing contrast agents may hinder the examination of thyroid function, and the iodine binding capacity of the thyroid can decrease for several days or even weeks.

7. Although no compatibility contraindications have been found, iodixanol should not be directly mixed with other drugs.

8. Fasting should be done 2 hours before imaging.

9. No clinical studies have been conducted on the use of this product in the spinal canal, therefore it is not suitable for use in the spinal canal.

10. If this product has discoloration or sedimentation, it cannot be used.

11. Given the extremely low accuracy of pre testing in predicting allergic reactions caused by non-ionic contrast agents, and the fact that the test itself may also lead to severe allergic reactions, it is not recommended to use pre testing to predict iodine allergic reactions.
