Usage and dosage

The general dosage is 2-20mg per intravenous injection; When intravenous infusion, it should be diluted with 5% glucose injection solution and can be repeated for 2-6 hours until the condition stabilizes, but high-dose continuous administration generally does not exceed 72 hours. It can also be used to alleviate brain edema caused by malignant tumors. The first dose is 10mg intravenously, followed by 4mg intramuscularly every 6 hours. Generally, patients can improve within 12-24 hours, gradually reduce dosage after 2-4 days, and stop medication after 5-7 days. For brain tumors that are not suitable for surgery, the first dose can be intravenously administered 50mg, followed by repeated administration of 8mg every 2 hours, and then reduced to 2mg per day after a few days, divided into 2-3 intravenous doses. Used for intrathecal injection of 5mg each time, with an interval of 1-3 weeks for injection; Intraarticular injection is generally 0.8-4mg per injection, depending on the size of the joint cavity.
Attention
1. Appropriate anti infection treatment must be given to patients with tuberculosis, acute bacterial or viral infection.
