Etoposide injection is mainly used for the treatment of small cell lung cancer, malignant lymphoma, malignant germ cell tumor, leukemia, and has certain therapeutic effects on neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, ovarian cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, and esophageal cancer.
This product is a cell cycle specific anti-tumor drug that acts on DNA topoisomerase II, forming a drug enzyme DNA stable reversible complex that hinders DNA repair. The experiment found that this complex can be reversed with the clearance of drugs, repairing damaged DNA and reducing cytotoxicity. Therefore, prolonging the administration time of drugs may enhance their anti-tumor activity.

The main ingredient of this product is etoposide. Its chemical name is 9- [4,6-O - (R) - ethylene - β - D-glucopyranoside] -4 '- demethylated podophyllotoxin.

Usage and dosage
Intravenous infusion. Dilute the required amount of this product with sodium chloride injection, with a concentration not exceeding 0.25mg per milliliter, and intravenously drip for no less than 30 minutes. Solid tumors: 60-100mg/m [sup] 2 [/sup] per day for 3-5 consecutive days, with repeated medication every 3-4 weeks. Leukemia: 60-100mg/m [sup] 2 [/sup] per day for 5 consecutive days, with repeated administration at regular intervals based on blood count. Common dosage for children: intravenous drip daily at a body surface area of 100-150mg/m2 [sup] 2 [/sup], for 3-4 consecutive days.
Attention
1. This product should not be administered intravenously, and the speed of intravenous infusion should not be too fast, at least half an hour, otherwise it may cause allergic reactions such as hypotension and laryngeal spasms.
2. Chest, abdominal, and intrathecal injections are not allowed.
3. This product has reproductive toxicity and teratogenicity in animals, and can be excreted through breast milk. Pregnant and lactating women should use it with caution.
During the medication period, regular checks of peripheral blood count and liver and kidney function should be conducted.
5. This product should be used immediately after dilution. If there is precipitation, it is strictly prohibited to use.
