Indications/Functional Indications

 

Docetaxel injection, indication is

1. Docetaxel is suitable for the treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer that fails in early chemotherapy. Unless clinically contraindicated, early treatment should include anthracycline anticancer drugs.

2. Docetaxel is suitable for the treatment of advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that has failed chemotherapy primarily with cisplatin

 

Specifications

 

1.5ml: 60mg (with 4.5ml of solvent for injection);

1ml: 40mg (with 3ml of solvent for injection).

Attention

 

1.Docetaxel must be used under the guidance of a doctor with experience in using cancer chemotherapy drugs. Due to the possibility of severe allergic reactions, corresponding emergency facilities should be available, and it is recommended to closely monitor the main functional indicators during injection.
2. The incidence of treatment-related deaths increases when the dose of docetaxel reaches 100mg/m2 in patients with liver dysfunction, high-dose treatment with this product, and non-small cell lung cancer patients who have previously received platinum based drug therapy.
3. All patients need to take drugs in advance before receiving docetaxel treatment to reduce the occurrence of body fluid retention. The drugs in advance only include glucocorticoids, such as dexamethasone, which are taken from the first day of docetaxel injection, 16 mg per day, for 4-5 days.
4. Allergic reactions are highly likely to occur within the first few minutes of starting the infusion of docetaxel. If the symptoms of allergic reactions are mild, such as flushing or local skin reactions, treatment does not need to be discontinued. If a severe allergic reaction occurs, such as a decrease in blood pressure exceeding 20mmHg, bronchospasm, or systemic rash/erythema, the infusion should be immediately stopped and symptomatic treatment should be administered. Docetaxel should not be used again in patients who have experienced serious adverse reactions.
