The main ingredient of this product is dexamethasone acetate, with the chemical name 16 α - methyl-11 β, 17 α, 21-trihydroxy-9 α - fluoropregnest-1,4-diene-3,20-dione-21-acetate.

This product is a white tablet.

Dexamethasone acetate tablets are mainly used for allergic and autoimmune inflammatory diseases. Allergic diseases such as connective tissue disease, severe bronchial asthma, dermatitis, ulcerative colitis, acute leukemia, malignant lymphoma, etc. In addition, this drug is also used for the diagnosis of certain adrenal cortical diseases - dexamethasone suppression test.

Adrenocortical hormone drugs have more significant anti-inflammatory, anti allergic and anti shock effects than prednisone, but have less effect on water and sodium retention and promoting potassium excretion, and have stronger inhibitory effect on pituitary adrenal gland.

1. Anti inflammatory effect: This product can alleviate and prevent tissue reactions to inflammation, thereby reducing the manifestation of inflammation. Hormones inhibit the aggregation of inflammatory cells, including macrophages and white blood cells, at the site of inflammation, and suppress phagocytosis, release of lysosomal enzymes, and synthesis and release of inflammatory chemical mediators. Oral administration, the starting dose for adults is 0.75-3.00mg (1-4 tablets) once, 2-4 times a day. The maintenance dose is about 0.75mg (1 tablet) per day, depending on the condition.

1. Patients with tuberculosis, acute bacterial or viral infection should use it with caution. If necessary, appropriate anti infection treatment must be given.

After long-term medication, the dosage should be gradually reduced before stopping.

3. Patients with diabetes, osteoporosis, cirrhosis, renal dysfunction, and hypothyroidism should use it with caution.

4. Athletes should use caution.
